Established in 2007, the Boston Wine Group was created to fill a need in the artisan boutique wine market left open by the consolidation of wine distributors in Massachusetts whose focus is not on the small producer but on the high volume, mass production wine companies. We are a highly experienced staff educating the market in the value and wisdom of smaller wineries. We do extensive staff training and research of the market to make sure that your wines are being represented properly.

We believe that the distributor's main function is in education. We take the time to teach our clients about the vineyard, winemaker, terroir and the combination of wine and food. We show how wine should complement what you are eating and we work with the staff in selecting proper food selections for your wine. However, in the end we believe the selection of wine is personal and that any wine that the consumer chooses should not be criticized but encouraged as we firmly believe that wine should illicit pleasure no matter what the wine is. Life is too short not to have fun!
